Statement of the Day – Chris‘ corner

Be patient (10/01/12)

Hi guys!
I know you are all waiting for some news. I really try hard to keep up to date with my postings here but the last week was really exhausting: exams, family visiting me and at least the flu got me.

By the end of this week I will try to prepare some great pictures of my trip to Chicago, the visit of the Kalona Fall Festival and some more fun facts about the US I have discovered during my journeys.

See you soon!

How would a bed fit into a closet? (08/29/12)

It is Wednesday, 29th of August and my new queen size be is delivered. But where to go with the old full size? Well, open the closet, put the bed in it, close the closet. (Same thing if you ever have to store an elephant. Open closet, put in the elephant, close closet. Oh but remember to get out the bed first…)

First deko stuff in my apartment (08/27/12)

Finally I found something cheap to make my living room at least looking just a little bit less insipid:

Th, 9th Aug – the backround of the Maggi Fix

Due to so many mails (if they were written in English I would have posted them into the comments) I just want to make sure that everybody knows that I am able to cook without Maggi Fix. It’s not like “If it fits in a toaster I can cook it”.  But there are some facts I cannot ignore and which would make everything hopefully look more thought trough:
  • Going out for dinner every day is too expansive
  • Some days, time is rare so I cannot cook a whole meal all by myself
  • And most important: these instant meals for casserole and so on are not available in US stores. (Ok, you can buy them for a lot of money at amazon.com => click here but there you can get nearly everything so that means nothing at all)
If you are shocked about this mess there is a way out. Just click right here and you will feel much more comfortable.
