After we
shopped through the Mall of America we HAD to test the Ikea Restaurant in the
store next to the mall. And yes, the Swedish meatballs taste good in the US,
even if you can’t get them with elk noodles there. After having a good dinner
we made our way through the store and the rules are quite the same in there as
well: you cannot get out of it with buying anything. We purchased a new hand luggage
sized backpack with wheels, some neck pillows, a small table for a friend in
Iowa City, and some other things as well. After the checkout our time in Minneapolis
was over and we started on our trip back to Iowa City. Later on we should
discover that the fuel usage of our car was not as efficient as we thought; it
simply had a huuuge tank for gas…
