Fun facts in the US - French rolls the American Brötchen (10/13/12)

This is a story which is likely to be remembered forever. Jan and I went down to the Panera bakery for getting some bagels and French rolls for breakfast. My “revolutionary” idea of asking the saleswomen to slice the French roll with their machine got her really confused. Instead of using the bagel slicer she put that little thing into the bread slicer. Actually THAT was not the way I wanted my breakfast. But ok, she took another shot which needed al hear bravery when she let a new roll slide don into the knifes of the bagel slicer…
