This day I
felt like I needed something good from home. So I decided to bake one of
grandma’s recipes and enjoy a good piece of cake. The hardest challenge was
finding yeast in the grocery stores (fresh one is not even sold) and recalculating
all the measures of Gramm into cups and / or ml for the ingredients.
But as you
can see it worked out quite well. We went to Ann and her family to share some
of the cake and also gave some pieces to Kim and guess what: all Americans
liked the German cake ;-)
